The MEDICARE GIFT campaign, which is associated with the MEDICARE Platinium Healthcare Plan subscription, gives you free access to a healthcare Network of Partners with national coverage that meets very demanding quality and safety standards. This campaign includes, free of charge, Dentistry, House Call, Health Advice Over The Phone, and Transport to the Hospital.

How to use your Healthcare Plan

  1. How to book a medical home visit: contact the MEDICARECustomer Support Service – 219 441 113, option 1, option 3 and follow the instructions carefully. You should have your MEDICARE GIFT card with you.
  2. How to request Medical Advice over the Phone: contact the MEDICARE Customer Support Service – 219 441 113, option 1, option 2 and follow the instructions carefully.
  3. Select the Dental Service Provider: at www.medicare.pt click on “Medical Network” and select the Plan that gave you access to the Campaign. Search for the Provider you want.
  4. Make a dental Appointment in the MEDICARE Network: contact the MEDICARE Dental Appointment Line – 211 165 530 – and we will make an appointment with your preferred Provider. This Dental Appointment Line is open on week days from 9 am to 8 pm.
  5. What to do at the Appointment: you should present your MEDICARE GIFT card every time, to the chosen Provider, together with another personal photo identification document. After the appointment you should pay for the services you were provided, for the amount agreed by MEDICARE with the Provider. Always ask for payment invoices to include in your Income Tax filing.
